Refund and Returns Policy

At Ghana Fugu, we want you to love your Fugu pieces! If something doesn’t fit quite right or isn’t what you expected, we’re happy to help with returns within our policy below.

Refunds

You may request a return within 7 calendar days of the delivery date shown on your tracking information. Returns requested after this window cannot be accepted.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at {email address}.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return and refund:

  • The item must be unworn, unwashed, and in the same new condition as received (no signs of wear, stains, odors, pet hair, or alterations).
  • All original tags, labels, and packaging must be attached and intact.
  • Include your order number (found in your confirmation email) inside the package for quick processing.

Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Items marked as “final sale,” “sale,” or “no returns” at purchase.
  • Undergarments, swimwear, or any hygiene-related items (for health reasons).
  • Personalized or custom-made items.
  • Items damaged due to customer misuse after receipt.

How to Initiate a Return

Email us at info@ghfugu.com within the 7-day window with your order number and reason for return (optional but helpful!). We’ll reply with return instructions, including the return shipping address (US-based). Pack the item securely in its original packaging (or similar) and ship it back using a traceable method (we recommend USPS, UPS, or FedEx for proof of shipment).

  • Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item is defective/damaged upon arrival (in which case, contact us for a prepaid label).

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return (usually within 3–5 business days), we’ll process your refund to the original payment method. You’ll receive a confirmation email when the refund is issued. Please allow 5–10 business days for the credit to appear on your statement (depending on your bank or card issuer). Shipping fees from the original order are non-refundable (unless the return is due to our error, e.g., wrong item shipped).

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges at this time (size/color swaps). Please return the item for a refund and place a new order for your preferred size or style. Popular items can sell out quickly—shop soon!

Defective or Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@ghfugu.com with photos and your order number. We’ll arrange a full refund or replacement (including prepaid return shipping if applicable).
